Here comes a new way to visit Turin and its area, by booking an accommodation facility at the weekend on www.visit-torino.com starting from 21 May, with two free exclusive guided tours of your choice.
The project is carried out by Chamber of Commerce of Turin, in collaboration with associations Ascom Confcommercio Turin e Confesercenti Turin and the participation of Assohotel Confesercenti Piemonte, Federalberghi Turin, GTA - Turin Industrial Union. Furthermore, it is developed in promotional synergy with Visit Piemonte and Turismo Torino e provincia.
"In this very important moment of restart, the Turin Chamber of Commerce wants to give a signal of help and support to the action of tourist attraction towards the territory, with an exclusive possibility to book a trip to the city through our website Visit Turin - Explains Dario Gallina, President of the Chamber of Commerce. - It is a new service that we create to stimulate tourists first to desire and then to leave for a journey to discover Turin and its beautiful surroundings, in a way that respects safety regulations. We want to focus on a green and sustainable image of a city that can be visited on foot, with rich food and wine proposals of local products and recipes, to bring visitors to Turin for the first time or to return them to rediscover new aspects of a wonderful city like ours.".
The Chamber of Commerce with the trade associations, wanting to be of support to all companies in the tourism supply chain for the exit from the crisis generated by the pandemic and with this contribute to a complementary action to the institutional one, is in fact developing a three-year strategic project to reactivate tourism in Turin. This first initiative is part of the operational recovery plan for the year 2021.
From the end of 2020, the new social channels Facebook and Instagram “Visit Torino Official” were launched, with the aim of supporting and repositioning the Torino brand in the tourist market and creating the desire to visit as soon as possible.
From today we will try to favor the choice of Turin as a destination and consequently the booking by visitors directly from the tour operators, using the Visit Torino Official portal as a marketing channel.
The participating accommodation facilities have proposed their own fixed rate for two nights for two people with breakfast included, valid on weekends until 31/12/2021, subject to availability. Any additional people or services will be agreed directly with the guest. The booking will be direct and the payment will be made in the structure. Customers who book a room through the Turin Travel Box will be able to benefit from two free guided tours in the window on the site, over the weekend.
Finally, all trips booked by www.visit-torino.com will be in compliance with the regulations in force for the emergency.
It should be noted that in the coming weeks the Chamber will launch similar Travel Boxes for the Val Susa and for the Canavese and Valleys of Lanzo, all spectacular points of our metropolitan area.
