Pasticceria Caffè Bonfante

Description

Our company is a coffee, pastry and ice cream shop, based in Chivasso Via Torino n.29, founded in 1922 by Luigi Bonfante, recognized as a "historic place of Italy" since 2007. 

Historic meeting point of city life, it is an entirely original Art Nouveau jewel, with a facade, marble, mirrors, counters and boiserie in Piedmontese walnut. 

“Regno” dei Nocciolini, a historic Chivasso specialty of which we are the longest-lived producers.

We only use "Piedmont IGP hazelnuts" for their production.

All the sweets in the shop are of our production, a production linked to the tradition of the history of Piedmontese pastry: "bignole" (small as they are made only in Turin), meliga pastries, kisses, torcetti with butter, petit four, ugly but good, hazelnut cakes, plum cakes, etc., we have also introduced the wine “Caluso Passito” as a characterizing ingredient of two of our products: biscuits with raisins and cake with peanuts and raisins in Caluso wine.
